Super Bowl LV Preview

On Sunday Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have a chance to make history with a chance to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium.

Standing in their way is the defending Super Bowl Champs the Kansas City Cheifs who are favorite by a mere three points and also have a chance to repeat.

The Bucs will have to step up their game if they want any chance at dethroning the champs and giving Brady another Super Bowl ring to the six he currently has.

When these two teams met during the regular season the Cheifs came out on top 27-24 but to be honest, that wasn’t the best performance by the Bucs and a lot of issues in that game was on the defense and Brady had a game where he was sacked quite a bit.

The keys to victory seem to be pretty simple but entail a herculean task shutting down Patrick Mahomes who has been dubbed the baby GOAT and the Chiefs offense.

If the Bucs are able to do what they did to Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers shutting down their offense and getting to Rodgers the Bucs will be pretty successful and have a decent chance to win.

The key to this match will in fact be the defense and the statement holds true “ defense wins championships”. Jason Pierre Paul, Ndamukong Suh, Jordan Whitehead, Lavonte David, Sean Murphy Bunting, and Jamele Dean will have to play their best to have a chance at shutting down Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tyrek Hill.

On the Bucs side, the offense will once again be key for a victory on Sunday, Rob Gronkowski, Mike Evans, Ronald Jones Jr, and Antonio Brown all need to have a big game.

It was mentioned on the ManHour Radio show this week that a key factor could be the fact Brady had two weeks to watch film on his opponents and plan a strategy to beat Kansas City.

Brady is known to be meticulous and quite the perfectionist when it comes to his craft and it was stated he spends most of his time when he isn’t practicing watching film and looking at ways to win.

If Brady and the Bucs are able to win this will be his seventh Super Bowl in 10 tries which is pretty impressive. At that rate, it seems Brady is making the Super Bowl every two years, and the fact he is doing it this year with a brand new team is just remarkable.
